Rapid, Neuroscience-Based Support to Help You Move Forward
What is BrainWorking® Recursive Therapy?
BrainWorking® Recursive Therapy (BWRT®) is a short-term therapy designed to quickly and permanently change the way your brain reacts to certain stressors. The aim is to reduce or put an end to the anxiety, habit, or phobia that the stressor usually leads to.
-Terence Watts, Founder of BWRT® (www.bwrtsa.co.za)
BWRT works with your brain’s natural, automatic neural pathways to help create rapid and sustainable change, designed to help you react to daily triggers in a way that feels calm, grounded, and entirely in your control.
Frequently Asked Questions About BWRT®

1
What exactly is BWRT?
BWRT is a modern, solution-focused counselling intervention designed to "re-route" habitual, automatic emotional responses before they even reach your conscious awareness. BWRT focuses on how you want to feel and react in the future.
2
Do I need to talk about painful memories?
No. One of the greatest benefits of BWRT is that it can be processed largely "content-free." You do not need to share intimate, distressing, or vulnerable details of past events with me if you prefer not to. As long as you can look at the core of the problem in your mind and identify how you would prefer to feel instead, the protocol can be highly effective.
3
